Error description
In a blade environment, PHYP must set the hardware to receive jumbo frames because there is no user interface to alter the setting. If the HEA AIX driver is set to not have jumbo frames and the HEA is put into promiscuous mode, a HEA PHYP error will occur when a jumbo frame is received. For non-blade environments, this can also occur due to the user setting the hardware to accept jumbo frames yet not setting the AIX driver to accept jumbo frames. The error as seen by the AIX user is an HEA_INFO error although that error can be produced for a number of reasons.
Local fix
Enable jumbo frames on the HEA AIX driver.

Problem conclusion
Code added to workaround this problem by forcing the driver to allocate resources to handle jumbo packets.
