Error description

  • Clcomd may appear to hang if many operations such as clcmd,
    clrcp, or clrsh are performed at a high frequency at the same
    time that a change in the cluster topology is made using
    chcluster or when stopping/starting a node with clctrl

    * bos.cluster.rte fileset below the 7.1.3.15 level.

    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    * Clcomd may appear to hang if many operations such as clcmd,
    * clrcp, or clrsh are performed at a high frequency at the same
    * time that a change in the cluster topology is made using

    * RECOMMENDATION:
    * Install APAR IV55502.

Problem conclusion

  • Clcomd internal state logic was improved to handle this
    condition.
