IV52663: ROOT DIRECTORY IS NOT RESTRICTED BY FTPACCESS.CTL
Closed as fixed if next.
FTP access control fails to apply access control rule to the root directory (/). For example, 'readonly: /' can be defined in /etc/ftpaccess.ctl to prevent from uploading files into the root directory. But this rule is not enforced.
Not able to prevent from uploading files into the root directory even after putting readonly: / in /etc/ftpaccess.ctl file.
This APAR is being closed FIN. This means that a solution to this APAR is expected to be delivered from IBM in a release (if any) to be available within the next 24 months.
