  • viosecure command (under aixpert envionment) may show
that
the enable NFS failure if all NFS daemons are not started
as shown below on a VIO server.

Local fix

  • run startsrc -g nfs ; then run the same commands.

Problem conclusion

  • Modify nfsconfig to ensure it accounts for the NFS client and
server cases where nfsd and rpc.mountd may not be running (no
/etc/exports file).
