Error description
Starting a large number of programs that have been linked against the pthread library concurrently can lead to inode lock contention on the /unix file. The inode lock contention on the /unix file has been seen in a large database environment where a high demand of new database connection requests resulted in starting a large number of new database processes concurrently.
Local fix
Problem summary
When a large number of threaded applications all exec at the same time,Customer may experience performance hit due to Inode lock contention on /unix.
Problem conclusion
Pthread library has been modified accordingly to avoid Inode lock contention on /unix.
