APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • After a storage port reset / imp or adding luns on the
array
a pdisc validation from the VIO npiv client may fail and
result in a LOGO from the storage port. This will cause a
momentary delay in IO processing as a full re-login will
be needed. This is due to the NPIV client setting the
wrong wwn / wwpn in the pdisc payload
