APAR status

Error description

  • Getwd can show performances problems or hangs in paths
that involve non jfs or jfs2 filesystems.
It has been seen in clearcase MVFS filesystems or
automount
/namefs but might not be limited to.
Note this can still happen with IZ94911 installed, there
is further complication with non jfs or jfs2 filesystems.

  • getwd() performance within CC/CQ is very slow.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • in get_mntdover_ino(), if we are dealing with a vfs who's gfs
is a GFS_PSEUDOROOT gfs then let the vfs to get the mntdover
vnode.
