    * Users of the AIX 7100-00 Technology Level with the vmo
    * tunable "numperm_global = 1" set.
    ****************************************************************
    * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    * Paging of computational storage pages is occurring when a
    * high percentage of memory is being used for the file cache.
    ****************************************************************
    * RECOMMENDATION:
    * Install APAR IV26581.
    * Prior to APAR availability, interim fixes are available at:
    * ftp://public.dhe.ibm.com/aix/ifixes/iv26581/
    * IV26581s07 for 7100-00-07

Problem conclusion

  • LRU processing changed to perform file only 4K page stealing
    when 64K page size is at maxpin condition and there are 4K file
    pages available to steal in the mempool.
