• This problem requires use of shared symbol table
  and has been seen on AIX 6.1 TL7 and 7.1 TL1
  when using Oracle 11gR2 with on-line patching.
  This includes versions  11.2.0.2 / 11.2.0.3 with
  Oracle Patch 13443029.

Local fix

• Specifying the LDR_CNTRL=hSHARED_SYMTAB=N option prevents
  the system from creating
  a shared symbol table for a 64-bit program. This option
  overrides the
  AOUT_SHR_SYMTAB flag in the XCOFF auxiliary header.
