  • Some of the client filesystem interfaces in AIX (e.g.
vm_releasep()) may fail with EINVAL when the filesystem
uses 64K page-size for files and attempts to operate
on the last 64K page in a 16TB file.

Problem conclusion


    

  • Introduced a new #define in vmuser.h called MAX_CBFSIZE_64K
that works correctly for 64K file page size. It must not be
used for 4K file page-size. 4K file page-size must continue
to use MAX_CBFSIZE as the largest file size. Affects
bos.adt.include fileset.
