APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Memory leak in cpsd. There are 7 pages of memory leaked
with each certificate validation. Over time, the cpsd
program will hit the ulimit and crash. When this
    happens,
the ipsec network communication will not work until cpsd
    is restarted.

Local fix

  • As a workaround, a customer may increase the timeout of
the tunnels. This will decrease the rate of certificate
    revalidation.
