  • ldap users still cannot see ldap 2nd groups after an
upgrade the system to AIX 6.1 TL6 SP4 with
bos.rte.security
6.1.6.4 installed.

Problem summary

  • secondary groups are not displayed for user when special
characters are involved in DN.

Problem conclusion

  • Special characters has been handled by LDAP client before
sending query to LDAP server.
