    Enhancements and various fixes for:

HCM for z/OS Version 1 Release 9 Service Level 12
HCM for z/OS Version 1 Release 10 Service Level 8
HCM for z/OS Version 1 Release 11 Service Level 4
    --------------------------------------------------
    .
    Enhancements:

    * When synchronizing devices of a HCD configuration
with HCM,the grouping rules for devices have been
      changed.
Now a new string is created if
      - the device type changes, and if
      - the connected control unit changes.

    Fixes:

    * When viewing device/OS parameters in a HCM production
configuration file (typical extension .hcr or .hcrz),
an unrecoverable HCM error can occur: this happens
after viewing more than 16 sets of device/OS
parameters, showing a controlled exit at
      hcm\main\src\hi\lhom\ll.c\<nnn>.
      This has been fixed.
      Verification Steps:
With an opened HCM production configuration file
(in connected mode), do the following steps:
      - On I/O Device List, press button 'OS Configs'
      - On dialog 'List Device <==> OS Configuration Definitions',
        select an OS configuration
      - Press button 'Define' to view device/OS parameters
      - Press button 'Cancel'
      - Repeat these steps for 16 more devices
The I/O Device List dialog keeps working normally
(instead of running into a controlled exit).

    * When creating a new control unit in an existing
controller, an unrecoverable HCM error may occur,
showing a controlled exit at hcm\main\src\di\hupcu.cpp\<nnn>.
      This has been fixed.
      Verification Steps:
With an opened HCM work configuration file (in connected
      mode), do the following steps:
      - Select a controller.
      - Invoke context menu 'Control Units...'.
      - On dialog 'Control Unit List', press button 'Create...'.
      - On dialog 'Create Control Unit', enter at least
a CU number, then press OK.
HCM returns to the 'Control Unit List' dialog
(instead of running into a controlled exit),
the list contains the new control unit.

    * When editing a controller with Edit I/O Subsystem wizard
an unrecoverable HCM error can occur: this can happen
if a controller doesn't follow the rules which are
applied by all I/O subsystem wizards.
      The rules are:
      - controllers contain at least 1 control unit,
      - strings contain at least 1 device,
      - devices can be connected to 1 control unit only,
      - devices in strings must be connected to same
        control unit.

The Edit I/O subsystem wizard now analyzes the controller
and issues a message if controller does not conform to
above rules. Before working with the Edit I/O Subsystem
wizard, the controller must be changed with
      the "Controller..." dialog.
To open the "Controller..." dialog do the following steps:
      - Select controller.
      - Invoke context menu 'Controller...'.
