Error description

  • Currently secondary authids are not recognized from the
control center on NT/95/AIX...  when running utilities.  The
user has the authority to run a RUNSTATS for instance on the
OS/390 using a sec. authid.  When the same RUNSTATS is started
from CC, or just via a batch job using the DSNUTILS stored proc,
the user does not have the authority to run the utiltiy.
Requirement MR0319016248 was written to address this.  We have
available a working sample dsn3sath.asm sample authorization
exit available that will allow the use of secondary authid when
running the control center or dsnutils.

the sample jcl can be made available on our ftp site when
needed.
The file name is DB2DUMP.DSN3SATH.ASM from our stlmvs1 system.

Those who wish to obtain a copy of this sample authorization
exit can contact db2 level2 support and they can make the exit
available on our ftp site.
