Error description

  • 5740XYR00 DB2DDF DB2DRDA1
Additional information is provided here to supplement the
description of SQLCODE -30061 in DB2 Messages and Codes,
    SC26-4379.

SQLCODE -30061 is issued at the requester when a DRDA RDBNFNRM
reply message is received from the server. The RDBNFNRM
indicates that the RDB (Relational Database) name was not
found at the server. Additional explanation information
    is provided here:

    -30061 RDB NOT FOUND
    Explanation:
An attempt was made to access an RDB which cannot be found.
This usually means that a requester specified the server
location name incorrectly. The server responded by indicating
that the requester's specification of the server location name
is incorrect. Requester or server changes are needed to make
the location names consistent. Location names for DB2 systems
are defined in the BSDS DDF record and are also in the
DSNL400I console message when DDF is started. For more
information about defining location names, see Section 1
Volume 1 of the DB2 Administration Guide, SC26-4374.
More information about RDB names on different platforms
can be found in Distributed Relational Database Connectivity
    Guide, SC26-4783.
