  From an OS/2 requester, the user's program attempts to use
  (IEEE) floating point data that is too large for DB2.  In
  the 80X86 architecture (where OS/2 applications run) IEEE
  floating point numbers can be much larger than what can be
  supported in the system 370/390 architecture (where DB2 runs).
  In this case, an OS/2 program host variable was set with the
  value 1.2E126.  An SQL statement is executed to a DB2 server
  using this host variable as input. This is beyond the limit
  of the S370/390 architecture therefore DB2 returns a VALNSPRM
  (VALue Not SuPported Reply Message) to the requester indicating
  code point 147A (FDODTA).
  Users should refer to DB2 Messages and Codes manual under
  SQLCODE -405 and -406 for a description of the limits that are
  imposed by a DB2 system.
