Error description

  • When operator issues 'PFLUSH partition' and a subsystem is found
    active, e.g. CICS or VTAM or PSF, VSE/POWER issues message
    1QZ1D SUBSYSTEM RUNNING IN PARTITION partition-id ....
    The operator is not informed which subsystem is running in the
    named partition and needs to use additional commands to
    determine which subsystem is running .

Problem conclusion

  • VSE/POWER will now show subsystem name as shown by 1I55D .
    For USER subsystem if will show VSE/AF jobname.
    IPW$$CF has been modified to insert subsystenm name into message
    1QZ1D defined in IPW$GMM/IPW$$MM and modified by IPW$$MX.
    IPW$$NU has been modified to align POWER PCBs in dump.

    1QZ1D SUBSYSTEM ssystem RUNNING IN PARTITION xx - REPLY 'YES'TO
    FLUSH PARTITION
    Explanation: A PFLUSH command was entered for a partition
    in which the named subsystem runs. The system operator is
    prompted to confirm the flushing.
    System action: VSE/POWER waits for the operator's reply.
    Operator response: Reply 'YES', if the subsystem should
    actually be canceled. Otherwise type in 'NO' or simply press
    ENTER.
    System programmer response: None.
