APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When using Linux Fast Path (LFP) the LFP instance may run out of
buffers quickly. Due to a buffer leak that happens under rare
circumstances, LFP buffers may get lost, and thus are no longer
available. When no more buffers are available LFP will try to
allocate additional buffers up to the configured maximum size.
When the maximum size is reached, or no more system GETVIS is
available, then applications that are working with that LFP
instance may encounter failing socket calls due to no more
    buffers available.
