Summary

The License Authorization Wizard fails when used from a computer which is not able to access the internet or in certain other cases where the IBM licensing server is blocked.

Steps

In these cases you can use the attached HTML file to generate your license.  Simply load the file up into your browser on an internet enabled computer and enter the authorization code and lock code.  The authorization code is generated from the License Key Center or provided to you by IBM.

License Key Center

The lock code is generated from the computer which needs a license.  The License Authorization Wizard displays the code and you can also generate it by running the program "echoid.exe" which is found either in the product installation folder or in the bin sub-folder (depending on the program and platform in use).   A typical lock code is a number, a dash, and then several hexadecimal characters (0-9 and A-F).
