PurifyPlus version 7 support for HP-UX on Itanium

Question
Does IBM Rational PurifyPlus support the HP-UX operating system on the Intel Itanium platform?
 
Answer
PurifyPlus version 7.0 did not initially support HP-UX on Itanium, although such support has been added in recent Interim Fixes (iFix).

Purify support for HP-UX Itanium was added in iFix 010, while Quantify and PureCoverage gained support in iFix 012.

Note that PurifyPlus versions 7.0.1 and up will no longer include support for the HP-UX platform. For further details, please see technote 1394183.
