Question
Is IBM Rational PurifyPlus supported with Microsoft Windows Terminal Server or Remote Desktop?
 
Cause
PurifyPlus (Purify, Quantify and PureCoverage) can be run fine via Windows Terminal Server or Remote Desktop. However, there can be a problem if a node-locked license is being used.

When PurifyPlus and the node-locked license are installed on a server, attempting to access it remotely will result in a license error, as node-locked licenses do not permit remote use.

 
Answer
To work around this problem, you may either run PurifyPlus (using the node-locked license) directly at the physical machine where it is installed, or switch to using a floating license type.
