Abstract
IBM Rational PurifyPlus 7.0.1 will not be supported on HP-UX (PA-RISC and IA64).
 
Content
PurifyPlus will no longer be supported on HP-UX starting with PurifyPlus 7.0.1 (scheduled for release in November, 2009). Support for HP-UX will be provided in PurifyPlus 7.0 through September 1, 2010.

PurifyPlus will continue to be supported on Microsoft Windows, IBM AIX, Linux and Sun Solaris. Customers currently running on HP-UX can continue to benefit from PurifyPlus by compiling and running their code on any of the other UNIX platforms.

The following products are affected by this change:

  • IBM Rational PurifyPlus for Linux and UNIX
  • IBM Rational Purify for Linux and UNIX
  • IBM Rational PurifyPlus Enterprise Edition
