What is the support policy for IBM Rational ClearCase on Solaris Branded Zones?

Rational has added ClearCase support for Solaris Branded Zones. This support is available for both Solaris 8 and Solaris 9 Branded Zones running on Solaris 10 SPARC. Solaris 10 branded zones are also supported running on Solaris 11 with ClearCase 8.0.X, without need for any patches.
ClearCase Branded Zone support requires one of the following ClearCase releases or updates (or later):
In addition, ClearCase support for Solaris 8 and 9 Branded Zones on Solaris 10 SPARC requires:
- Solaris Containers 1.0.1
- Solaris 10 10/08 (Update 6 or later)
- Solaris patch 137137-09 (or later)
- Solaris patch 140408-01 (or later)
No additional patches are required for Solaris 10 Branded Zones on Solaris 11.

Information on installing and running ClearCase on Solaris Non-Global Zones was incorporated into the 7.1 and 8.0 release of the ClearCase product documentation. For prior releases of ClearCase, refer to Technote 1258546 for information on running ClearCase in a Non-Global Zone.
