Abstract
The value of software lies in its ability to meet client's business objectives. As part of our commitment to providing you with products that enable you to achieve your business objectives, we are seeking insight into your experience and business priorities with IBM Rational Software. We invite you to share with us your experience and priorities through the Consumability Survey. Your assistance will be very much appreciated.

You can access the Web based Survey at the link below, and it can be taken anonymously, if desired.

The entire survey must be completed in a single session. You need to take the entire survey until you reach the <Submit Survey> button, then click that button for the data to reach us. There is no option to save a partially completed survey in order to return later and complete it, so you need to complete the entire survey in a single session.

Answering the questions may require some thought and it is estimated to take 30-45 minutes to complete. It is especially important that you accurately answer the questions regarding the product name and release number of the software you are using, so the appropriate product team receives the feedback. The Survey and the Write-In Comments are an opportunity for you to influence future releases of IBM Rational software. Your feedback will help IBM Rational better serve your software needs.


What is Consumability?

IBM Rational uses the term consumability to describe the differences between a product that works and one that makes your work easier, such as:
  • How easily you found the product to match your business needs

  • How fast you configured the product to your environment

  • How well it fulfilled its function

  • How efficiently it suited your organization's usage on a daily basis

  • How easily you derived business value from it on a long-term basis
