IBM Migration Assistant for Oracle® Tuxedo SupportPac CE01 is for you if you are running applications on Oracle Tuxedo and want help migrating to IBM TXSeries for Multiplatforms.

SupportPac CE01 was updated on 6 January 2011. See what's new in version 2.0 and upgrade to this new version if you would like to take advantage of the latest updates.
The IBM Migration Assistant for Oracle Tuxedo, provided by this SupportPac, enables Oracle Tuxedo applications to be seamlessly migrated to IBM TXSeries for Multiplatforms, with minimal changes to the application's build process.
The migration assistant consists of tools that can convert the existing application into a TXSeries loadable module and deploy it to the relevant CICS region.
Possible Uses
This SupportPac provides a simplified way for you to move your Oracle Tuxedo applications to the TXSeries environment. This migration also unlocks the opportunity for you to make use of the benefits of moving to CICS Transaction Server for z/OS (CICS TS), as the demands of your business grows.

Prerequisites
This SupportPac requires:
- IBM TXSeries for Multiplatforms, V7.1 (5724-B44) with FixPack 1 applied (available through IBM Fix Central)
- IBM CICS Transaction Gateway for Multiplatforms V7.2, or later.
Installation Instructions
To download the SupportPac:
1. Click on the FTP link below and save the compressed file to your local machine.
2. Extract the saved file to a temporary directory on your target machine. This will create the necessary installation files.
3. Follow the instructions in the included documentation to complete installation of this SupportPac.
