Question
How many virtual portals are supported on an IBM® WebSphere® Portal installation?
 
Answer
The WebSphere Portal team has tested successfully the creation and operation of 150 virtual portals in both a runtime and a performance test.

A number larger than 150 virtual portals might or might not work. The WebSphere Portal team has not tested with a number larger than 150 virtual portals. Therefore IBM supports only up to 150 virtual portals per WebSphere Portal installation or cluster.
