Announcing EasySync Pro release 4.2.5 and fix list

What is fixed in EasySync Pro?
-- Fixed an issue in which the New Profile window did not come to the front and profiles were not refreshed when a new device was detected.
-- Fixed an issue in which the Full Sync overlay graphics displayed incorrectly.
-- Fixed an issue that occurred if an invalid translator name was given in the command line, resulting in a crash.
-- Translator names used on the command line are not required to be case-sensitive any more.
-- Fixed an incorrect dialog control placement on the Schedule Sync dialog box in some foreign languages.
-- Fixed a flicker that sometimes occurred in the UI on low-resolution monitors.
-- If a profile had a translator that was removed, the profile is now deleted at startup and the profile deletion is logged.
-- Added support for the "/x" command line parameter for the new UI. The "/x" starts the UI and shuts down after first sync.
-- Calendar events that were changed from single to recurring now sync correctly.
-- Fixed an issue in which filters were not correctly applied to recurring records.
-- Fixed an issue in which changes made in the Lotus Notes® datasource selection were sometimes lost.
-- Full path is now displayed at the bottom of the Data Source dialog box.
-- Fixed a PVFC issue that could sometimes occur on multi-processor machines.
-- Fixed an issue in which the application would fail with an mfc80.dll error.
What is fixed in Lotus Notes:
-- Fixed an error that occurred when creating a repeating appointment on a device with a deleted exception. Synching to Notes and then synching it back to the device did not work correctly.
-- EasySync Pro now verifies that Notes is installed every time the Notes translator is loaded, instead of just at install time.
What is fixed for the Palm operating system?
-- Fixed an issue in which the EasySync conduit was sometimes lost when HotSync was shut down and restarted either by a reboot or manually.
-- Added a warning message to the Settings dialog box alerting users that at least one conduit for sync must be selected.
-- Fixed an issue in which the mail conduit could not be selected by itself.
-- The device-side mail filter is not applied if using HotSync 6.0 or higher (6.0+ devices use VersaMail, not MailPlus).
-- Error is now returned if the e-mail database can't be found on the device.
-- Turns Palm AutoSync on by default for a new profile and keeps EasySync Pro in sync with the HotSync conduit.
What is fixed for Windows Mobile:
-- Yomi fields in Windows Mobile devices are now displayed.
-- The Attendees field is now mapped by default.
-- Support given to "File As" for company (non-name) contacts on Windows Mobile 5 devices.

A period of Software Maintenance is included with each new IBM distributed software license (and Fixed Term License) obtained through Passport Advantage and Passport Advantage Express. When the initial period of Software Maintenance expires, the Software Maintenance must be renewed for continued access to product upgrades and technical support. Customers with existing Passport Advantage Software Maintenance can download the upgrade from Passport Advantage Online.
