Does Domino or LEI support the Oracle 10.x client?
 
Answer
The Oracle 10.x client is currently supported with LEI 6.5.3 and later (including 7.x). For LEI releases prior to 6.5.3, install the Oracle 9 client which can connect to an Oracle 10 server.
Currently, Oracle 7, Oracle 8, and ODBC connectors support the following Oracle clients for releases prior to 6.5.3:
  • Lotus Connector for Oracle 7 with Oracle 7.3.4 and 8.0.5
  • Lotus Connector for Oracle 8 with Oracle 8.0.5, 8i, and 9
  • Lotus Connector for ODBC with DataDirect Lotus-branded driver 5.0 for standard ODBC; supported systems include Oracle 9

Oracle 7, Oracle 8, and ODBC support all of the clients listed above, and additionally support Lotus Connector for Oracle 8 with the release 10 client.

Beginning with 6.5.3 (including 7.x), the Oracle connector can be used with the Oracle 10g client for both LEI and DECS.
