IBM® DB2® QMF™ for TSO and CICS V8.1 with APAR PQ99482 (PTF UK06848) adds support for the new IBM DB2 UDB for z/OS V8.1 feature, multiple row fetch and insert. Multiple row fetch and insert is a DB2 V8 performance enhancement that enables applications (like DB2 QMF) to request that DB2 send multiple rows of data at one time to or from the database. This can result in fewer accesses of the database and, in the case of distributed scenerios, result in fewer network operations. See DB2 QMF APAR PQ99482 for a complete description of this support.
