Error description

  • Packet tracing (SYSTCPDA CTRACE in combination with the PKTTRACE
    directive) has been enabled on the TCPIP stack, and local
    connections (both source and destination IP addresses are on
    this stack's HOME list) are recorded.  When the IPCS CTRACE
    formatter is used with OPTIONS((SESSION)), each side of the
    connection is shown in a separate session with all packets in
    the outbound direction.

    *                      formatter does not set the direction    *
    *                      flag correctly.                         *

    When fast local sockets packets are traced the direction flag
    needs to be set correctly.

    from the submitting customer. This means that a fix to this
    APAR is expected to be delivered from IBM in a release (if any)
    to be available within the next 24 months.

    by Communications Server for z/OS Development.
