Abend0c4 in VTAM module ISTPUCCA during application close ACB

Abstract
VTAM abend due to bad RUPE pointer in Register 4. Register 4 is loaded with ACDCRUPE from ACDEB. The ACDCRUPE field is overlaid with data x'00004800'.
 
Content
The overlay is caused by OEM vendor BMC Software and is resolved by BMC PTF BPN1246. Contact BMC Software support for information related to obtaining and installing the fix.
