TDSz Report Pack 5 Builder has been released to the IBM Tivoli Decision Support for z/OS community.
This package provides TCR-based reports for IBM Tivoli Decision Support for z/OS, along with tools and configuration files used to generate them.
It consists of a single ZIP file containing :
A report design zip file suitable for direct import into a running TCR 1.2 installation.
Updated build tools and configuration files which allow customers to easily create their own report pack or modify the supplied reports.
The report design zip file includes over 200 report designs. The focus for Report Pack 5 has been to include more MVS and MVSPM reports as well as improving the presentation with enhanced charting.
The updated tdszgen tool has been restructured to make it easier to create report packs with individual reports. Every report now has its own configuration file. This means you can select individual reports for inclusion in your report pack by editing a master file (previously you had to edit the report group files).
It has also been updated to allow multiple queries per report (previously only one was allowed) and data tables can now be tied to any of these queries. In addition, it also allows multiple charts with each chart tied to an individual query. Together these two features allow for a much richer set of reports to be produced.
