The AWM Configuration Assistant enables centralized configuration of test cases to execute with IBM's Application Workload Modeler. It provides a Graphical User Interface (GUI) with comprehensive help.

The AWM Configuration Assistant is an add-on tool for the Application Workload Modeler V1.1 base product. The Configuration Assistant runs on Windows-based platforms and supports the configuration of AWM clients and servers on the following platforms;
- OS/390 or z/OS V1R1
- Linux on zSeries
- Linux

Support is provided on a 'best effort' basis.
 
Prerequisites
The AWM based code must be at level DEC032003 of AWM. To determine your level of AWM, do the following:

awm>sh ver
AWM Shell -> AWM V1R1.2 PRE FIX2 (BLD DEC032003)

To obtain this level of code, contact IBM Support for AWM.

Supported platforms:
Extensively tested on Windows 2000. Verified on Windows XP. Likely will run on other Win32 platforms.

Hardware recommendations:
At least a 450Mhz PC with a minimum of 256Mb of RAM.
 
 
Installation Instructions
Download and execute the AWMSetup.exe program on a Windows system. A wizard will guide you through the install.
