Enabling IMS applications as Web service consumers: Asynchronous callout

 Product documentation

Abstract
This sample demonstrates the general steps for an IMS™ application to issue a callout request to a Web service through IMS Enterprise Suite SOAP Gateway. When no response is expected or the response is expected to return in a separate transaction, the request is known as an asynchronous callout request.

Content
This sample demonstrates the steps to create the required XML converters and connection bundle by using IBM® Rational® Developer for System z™ Version 7.6 and the SOAP Gateway deployment utility. It is not intended to serve as an end-to-end tutorial.
This sample will be available when IMS Enterprise Suite Version 1.1 is released. Please check back later.
