WebSphere Data Interchange v3.1 XMLEDI Automap downloads
This page provides a list of download files to support the rendering of EDI messages in XML syntax using IBM DataInterchange. These files are designed to allow the use of WebSphere Data Interchange (WDI) in an environment where there is already an XML based integration hub with full mapping capabilities such as IBM CrossWorlds or IBM WebSphere MQ Integrator. If the integration hub is to be used for all mapping, then downloading and importing the appropriate maps from this Web page will allow WDI to function as a bridge between the XML and EDI domains for the integration hub. Inbound EDI interchanges are de-enveloped (split into individual documents), syntactically validated, functionally acknowledged, rendered in XML syntax and passed to the integration hub. Outbound XML messages from the integration hub are rendered in EDI syntax, syntactically validated, enveloped and sent to the external trading partner. No mapping is done in WebSphere Data Interchange.
