Notes:

1. In this document, unless otherwise noted, the product version listed includes Fix Packs, service pack and so forth for that version. For example, 'WebSphere Process Server 6.0.1' represents WebSphere Process Server V6.0.1 and its Fix Packs. Another example is that 'AIX 5.3' means AIX V5.3 and its all TLs.

2. WebSphere Business Integration Toolset is not officially supported on Windows 2003 and Windows Vista.

3. Windows XP SP1A is supported for WebSphere Business Integration Toolset only, not for running the adapters.

4. Windows XP SP2 is supported only for development.

5. There are some known issues with regard to configuring WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus 6.0.1 as a broker.
a. The Java™ library file, WBIAdapterRuntime.jar, is missing from WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus.
b. WebSphere Business Integration Adapters cannot be managed from the WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus administrative console.

6. There is a known issue with regard to configuring WebSphere Enterprise Service Bus 6.0.2 as a broker.

7. From Adapter Framework Fix Pack 2.6.0.8, to include the fix for PMR44405,010,618 /JR26120, you must use InterChange Server version 4.3.0.5 (or later).

8. WebSphere Business Integration Adapter Framework supports IBM JRE 5.0 SR5 from Fix Pack 2.6.0.8, and supports IBM JRE 5.0 SR7 from Fix Pack 2.6.0.12. See technote 1265380.

9. InterChange Server certifies with MQ 6.0.2.0 Interim Fix IY91510 and MQ 6.0.2.1 Interim Fix IY91510. See technote 7006399.

10. Adapter Framework 2.6.0.10 is only for HP-UX v2 IA64 platform. See document 4016386. Adapter Framework runs on 32-bit JRE. So if you are running Adapter Framework on HP-IA and using MQ, you must set MQ_LIB as <MQ_install>/java/lib (32-bit library).

11. On HP-UX 11i v3 Itanium 64 platform MQ6.0.2.2 (or later) is required. See technote 7006792.

13. On RedHat Enterprise Linux 5.2 x86 64-bit you must have two RPM packages (libXp-1.0.0-8, compat-libstdc++-33-3.2.3) installed before Adapter installation. Also, Adapter Framework runs on 32-bit JRE, so if you are using MQ, you must set MQ_LIB as <MQ_install>/java/lib (32-bit library).

14. To install Adapter Framework on Solaris 10, please see technote 1233517.

15. Adapter Framework runs on 32-bit JRE. So it is not recommended to run Adapter Framework on any 64 bit platforms except HP-UX IA64 and RedHat Enterprise Linux 5.2 x64 64-bit. In the following list, all other Operation Systems refers to 32 bit platforms.

16. WebSphere Business Integration Adapter Framework supports IBM JRE 1.4.2 SR13 FP3 from Fix Pack 2.6.0.12. See technote 1426775.

17. WebSphere Business Integration Adapter Framework supports IBM JRE 1.6.0 from Fix Pack 2.6.0.12. See technote 1426776.
