Monitor EIS Events with WebSphere Business Monitor and WebSphere Adapter Integration

Abstract
IBM recognizes the crucial role of Enterprise Information Systems (EIS) to businesses and the need to integrate them into our business activity monitoring capabilities.
On March 20, 2009 IBM will augment WebSphere Business Monitor V6.2 with the capability to monitor events from Enterprise Information Systems (EIS). WebSphere Adapters V6.2 will now have the ability to communicate business events directly to WebSphere Business Monitor V6.2. WebSphere Adapters V6.2 is IBM enterprise class software for seamless integration with EIS.
Supported by WebSphere Application Server, this new level of integration will enable organizations to monitor key enterprise applications such as SAP Software, Oracle E-Business Suite, Siebel Business Applications, JD Edwards Enterprise One and PeopleSoft Enterprise for business critical events and deliver those events to WebSphere Business Monitor for further analysis and action.
