Issues identified with Microsoft Internet Explorer 8 and WebSphere Portal 6.0.1.5 & 6.0.1.6
|
| | | Abstract | WebSphere Portal versions 6.0.1.5 and 6.0.1.6 support Microsoft Internet Explorer version 8 as a client browser. No testing on earlier versions or releases of WebSphere Portal or Workplace Web Content Management will be performed.
During the tests a few issues were identified that solutions are still being investigated. This document lists the known issues and the fixes available. The fixes will be integrated into the next available fix pack for WebSphere Portal V6.0. | | | | | | | | Content | Issue | Test Scenario description | Resolution | | WCM Authoring: When creating a authoring template, the browser will be forced to compatibility mode automatically | During this process, a dialog box will pop up. The Authoring Template can be created successfully after that. | A fix is available in WCM Cumulative Fix 27 or higher. Install the latest WCM CF as listed in the Recommended Updates page. | | WCM Authoring: popup menu options are too far apart | | A fix is available in WCM Cumulative Fix 27 or higher.
