Abstract
Fix packs and interim fixes required for successful operation of IBM® WebSphere® Portal version 6.0.1.5 when deployed on these levels of supporting software.
Packages of minimum levels of required fix packs and interim fixes for WebSphere Application Server and Process Server deployed with WebSphere Portal version 6.0.1.5.
The required maintenance for WebSphere Portal V6.0.1.5 to function properly when deployed with WebSphere Application Server or Process Server may be downloaded from this document. The minimum fix pack levels required are:
WebSphere Process Server: 6.0.2.4 (V6.0.2 Fix Pack 4) (this represents a minimum required level, if the Process Server is deployed with your portal). Note: This is also required with the Extend edition if the Workplace Builder component is used.
Installation and support for these fixes and fix packs is provided by the appropriate WebSphere product support teams, not WebSphere Portal support.
When installing non-Portal interim fixes, you must use the appropriate Update Installer which is not provided with the downloads, and NOT the WebSphere Portal Update Installer.
Service releases later than the levels listed above might also be used and in most cases are considered to be untested but supported as described in the WebSphere Portal Support Statement.
Customers choosing to install a later service level of WebSphere Application Server or Process Server must ensure on their own that the level they are using includes some or all of the co-requisite Application Server or Process Server interim fixes listed in the Information Center and Release Notes, and then install any additional individual interim fixes not included.
For all installations, the fixes listed below are required:
Only one interim fix for WebSphere Application Server version 6.0.2.29 is required to ensure the proper function of WebSphere Portal version 6.0.1.5, however this requirement do not include everything that might be recommended by WebSphere Application Server support. You should also follow the Application Server Support Recommendations as found on the page "Recommended fixes for WebSphere Application Server - Version 6.0" (7004980).
V6.0.2: Java™ SDK 1.4.2 Cumulative Fix
Because this IBM Java SDK update is platform-specific, it is not included in a download package provided on this page. It must be downloaded and installed separately from the page "V6.0.2: Java SDK 1.4.2 Cumulative Fix" (4011104). The level tested with WebSphere Portal version 6.0.1.5 is 1.4.2 SR11 plus the interim fix for IBM Java SDK APAR PK70450 on affected platforms, and represents the minimum level required.
WebSphere Application Server version 6.0.2.29
Because this WebSphere Application Server update is platform-specific, it is not included in a download package provided on this page. You will need to download the appropriate platform-specific version of fix pack 29 from the appropriate page:
i5/OSNote: there is no version 6.0.2.29 for i5/OS, the level tested is6.0.2.27 on i5/OS
WebSphere Application Server Interim Fix
PK70450: An ArrayIndexOutOfBounds exception thrown from compiled code. The error message is similar to the one related to APAR PK53307 and only affects certain platforms .
This fix is available from Fix Central or is integrated into IBM Java SDK 1.4.2 SR12.
