Download document for WebSphere Portal version 6.0.1.1
This fix pack includes a cumulative collection of fixes and updated support for several underlying components. This fix pack updates IBM WebSphere Portal, including Server, Enable and Extend editions as well as WebSphere Portal Express v6.0, and Workplace Web Content Management™ (WCM) from the 6.0.0.0, 6.0.0.1 or 6.0.1.0 level to the 6.0.1.1 service release level.
The complete list of fixes integrated into this refresh pack may be found in the technote "Fix list for WebSphere Portal Version 6.0," linked above in the "Fix List" tab.
Additional Notes:1. The required interim fixes for WebSphere Application Server or Process Server have been packaged together for your convenience and can be downloaded from the document entitled "Required WebSphere interim fixes for WebSphere Portal version 6.0.1.1," and linked above in the "Required WebSphere Fixes" tab. The minimum fix pack levels required are:
- WebSphere Application Server: 6.0.2.17 (V6.0.2 Fix Pack 17) (this represents a minimum required level), or
- WebSphere Application Server: 6.0.2.19 (V6.0.2 Fix Pack 19)
- WebSphere Process Server: 6.0.2.1 (V6.0.2 Fix Pack 1) (this represents a minimum required level, if the Process Server is deployed with your portal). Note: This is also required with the Extend edition if the Workplace Builder component is used.
Installation and support for these fixes and fix packs is provided by the appropriate WebSphere product support teams, not WebSphere Portal support.
2.Additional fixes required in certain scenarios after installing 6.0.1.1 (these are found on the download page with the fix pack):
PK47107: Fix for local Stellent binaries on IBM AIX® and Series i™ platforms only (WCM, Document Manager, Portal Search)
PK47208: In clustered configurations a NullPointerException may occur retrieving data stored in DynaCache (Document Manager)
PK47237: When Trace is turned on for content API, Document Manager crashes when a document 's contents are displayed (WCM, Document Manager, Portal Search)

Bookmark and check the page Recommended fixes and updates for WebSphere Portal for additional recommendations or requirements that may affect your environment.
3. The fixes for general compatibility with Microsoft® Internet Explorer® version 7.0 are integrated into this fix pack where available, however users of the Web Clipping or Web Page Portlets should retrieve the latest version available from the IBM WebSphere Portal Business Solutions catalog.
4. Customers using Remote Document Conversion Services (DCS) must use the updated remotedcs.zip files on the remote server with this fix pack installation. The file is available for download from the same page as this fix pack, or separately from "Separate upgrade of Remote Document Conversion Services server is required."
5.Extend edition customers only:
Installation of this refresh pack provides the necessary code updates for the Composite Application Workflow (or "IBM Workplace Builder" as it is referred to in the official license) component to function properly in a supported production environment. There are no additional fixes required to satisfy the licensing requirements as there were with the IBM WebSphere Portal Fix Pack V6.0.0.1 and the interim fix for APAR PK31711. Originally delivered as a technology preview for the Extend offerings with WebSphere Portal V6.0's general availability, these code updates remove this restriction and allow for its fully supported use in a WebSphere Portal Extend production environment.
