Download Description
Tivoli Storage Manager (TSM) for Databases 7.1.1 contains the following components:
- Data Protection for Microsoft SQL Server 7.1.1
- Data Protection for for Oracle 7.1.0
Customers who already use the Data Protection for Microsoft SQL Server component at the 7.1.0.x level can download the 7.1.1 Fix Pack update either from:
- the FTP website used to deliver maintenance packages
- the Passport Advantage Online website
Customers who do not already have either component of Tivoli Storage Manager for Databases 7.1.0.x should obtain the 7.1.1 base image, with license enablement file, from the the Passport Advantage Online website.
Maintenance Packages via the FTP Website for Maintenance
(Data Protection for Microsoft SQL Server)
All Data Protection for Microsoft SQL Server maintenance packages can be accessed using the FTP website for maintenance deliveries.
However, these maintenance update packages require an existing 7.1.x installation on the machine before applying them because the maintenance update packages do not contain the license enablement files required for use of the component. If this is your initial installation of Data Protection for Microsoft SQL Server on a machine, you should obtain your packages, with the associated license enablement file, from the Passport Advantage Online website.
The maintenance update packages, without license enablement file, can be obtained from the following URL:

The Passport Advantage Online website has the complete set of images to download for Tivoli Storage Manager for Databases 7.1.1.

Download Package
The HTTP link in the Download Options column below directs you to the Passport Advantage Online website. Passport Advantage is a secure website that requires an account ID and password. It makes all of the component and platform images associated with Tivoli Storage Manager for Databases 7.1.1 available for download.
- Note: The Passport Advantage link below specifies "Windows" but the site allows you to access all images associated with either component of Tivoli Storage Manager for Databases 7.1.1 regardless of platform.
You can locate images on the Passport Advantage Online website by using the part number as the search query. For example, to locate the Tivoli Storage Manager for Databases: Data Protection for Microsoft SQL Server 7.1.1 on Windows, use CN19XML as the search query. You can also search by product name or component name.
