Notes:
1. Maximum library capacity
96 drives 7104 slots 2 robots in an active/passive configuration

2. Eight character barcodes are required. The last 2 characters must be the media identifier "Lx" where x is the tape cartridge generation. For example, ABC456L5 for an LTO-5 cartridge. Without a proper barcode label, a volume will appear as "unknown media".

3. The following media are supported

• Ultrium 5
• Ultrium 6

4. HP ESL G3 Series library supports HP Enterprise Secure Key Manager (ESKM) for encryption key management. To allow HP Enterprise Secure Key Manager to manage encryption keys, set the DRIVEEncryption option for DEVCLASS to ALLOW.

8. LTO mixed generation is currently not supported with TSM 6.1.5
LTO mixed generation is supported with TSM 5.5.6, 6.2.3, 6.3.0 and later

Library and drive may require different minimum Tivoli Storage Manager levels. Therefore, ensure that both library and drive hardware are supported.
