Notes:
1. Quantum DXi7500 is the enterprise disk backup solution which can be configured as Network Attached Storage (NAS) and Virtual Tape Library (VTL). Currently, only the VTL mode is supported by Tivoli Storage Manager. The VTL can emulate various ATL, ADIC, and Quantum media changers. However, we recommend configuring the media changer as Quantum DXi7500.
2. Library capacity
- up to 160 virtual drives, 9000 storage slots, and 9000 entry/exit slots
3. Barcodes are supported.
4. Device identifications and firmware levels used during validation
- (Validated with TSM 6.1.5)
Library ID : QUANTUM DXi7500 --- Firmware : 100A
Drive ID : HP Ultrium 4-SCSI--- Firmware : H44Z

Library and drive may require different minimum Tivoli Storage Manager levels. Therefore, ensure that both library and drive hardware are supported. See "Supported Devices for AIX, HP-UX, Solaris and Windows" or "Supported Devices for Linux" for minimum supported version levels and platforms for these devices.
More information regarding device configuration is available in the Tivoli Storage Manager Administrator's Guide, which can be found in the IBM Tivoli Storage Manager information center.
