Notes:

1. The cartridges can only be placed into the jukebox via the Entry/Exit Port.

2. Firmware levels
    • FX model - Library: 0.49, 1.51 - Drive: 1.48
    • EX model - Library: 1.51

3. Before running Tivoli Storage Manager, validate the following settings:

    Ready --> Admin * --> Config * --> Secure OFF, Secure Mail IN

    The default values may be different than the values above.

4. If the jukebox is running with LUN mode OFF and using the manufacturing setting SCSI ID values, the 160fx jukebox will use five of the seven available SCSI addresses on the bus.

5. If the jukebox is running IN LUN mode (LUN MODE ON) and using the manufacturing setting SCSI ID values, the 160fx jukebox will be configured as follows: SCSI addresses on the bus.

6. SCSI IDs can be changed using the front panel options. Refer to HP SureStore Optical 80fx, 160fx, & 200fx User's Guide for details.



Library and drive may require different minimum Tivoli Storage Manager levels. Therefore, ensure that both library and drive hardware are supported. See " Supported Devices for AIX, HP-UX, Solaris and Windows" or " Supported Devices for Linux" for minimum supported version levels and platforms for these devices.
