News Focus
Last edition of the TEC Newsletter
As the TEC functionality has been taken over by the Omegamon product set and the migration paths are in place, there will be few TEC announcements made in the future. As a result it has been decided to discontinue the TEC Newsletter as a separate newsletter. As information on the Omegamon product set is published in the Monitoring Newsletter, any future TEC announcements will be made there. Click Monitoring Newsletter to access and click Subscribe

Tivoli Documentation Central: Your One-Stop Documentation Shop
For years, IBM® Tivoli® software has delivered quality product documentation to its customers. From Installation Guides to User Guides, IBM Redbooks® publications to white papers, IBM is committed to providing Tivoli software users with the information they need to operate their products.

And while Tivoli remains committed to delivering the traditional documentation its customers expect to find bundled with the product, it also is investing in new methods to document key features and tasks. The Tivoli external wiki strategy is one method in which Tivoli is accomplishing this. At Tivoli wiki central customers can find best practices, scenarios, and shared experiences in a collaborative environment.

With such a large volume of documentation available to customers we recognize that it can be difficult to locate some of the information. The recently launched Tivoli Documentation Central provides a centralized location from which you can access documentation for all Tivoli products.

From Tivoli Documentation Central, you can access the following documentation for your Tivoli product:
Information centers: Tivoli product information centers include instructions for installing, configuring, and completing all of the major product tasks. The Tivoli information center is where you find product manuals including Installation Guides and User Guides. Links to all available versions of the information centers are included.
Community information: Tivoli communities provide a place where IBM developers, business partners, and customers can read and contribute product information. Here you can find links to product wikis where best practices, scenarios, and experiences are shared in a collaborative environment.
IBM Redbooks publications: IBM Redbooks publications complement the traditional documentation and often provide a solution oriented single-source reference.
Technotes: Tivoli technotes include key information for troubleshooting problems.
Flashes: Support flashes include key support updates.

Tivoli Documentation Central provides a simple one-click solution for accessing product documentation. The home page provides a simple A-Z listing of products, and each product page includes links to all of the documentation for your Tivoli product
