Symptom: If the web version of the TEC event console caches event
data for two or more distinct queries during the same
millisecond, all but one of the event viewers responsible
for these queries stop updating with new data. Stale
data is displayed thereafter in the affected event
viewers until WebSphere is restarted.

Fix Pack 8 version of the Install Assistant:
INSTALLASSISTANT.tar
1) The 3.9 FP04 or higher version of the Install Assistant is required to
install this ifix so please use the Install Assistant that is
packaged with this ifix if you are running on Fix Pack 3.
2) This version of the web console application is compatible with
3.9.0 TEC Fix Pack 3 and higher.
Applying the Interim Fix:
1) Extract the interim fix:
On a UNIX system:
Extract the contents into a scratch directory. For the purpose
of this release note, assume that the symbol $PATCH points to
this directory.
# cd $PATCH
# tar xvf 3.9.0.8-TIV-TEC-LA0090.tar
On a Windows system:
Extract the contents into a scratch directory. For the purpose
of this release note, assume that the symbol %PATCH% points to
this directory.
> %SystemRoot%\system32\drivers\etc\Tivoli\setup_env
> X:
^-- 'X' is the drive letter where %PATCH% is found
> cd %PATCH%
> tar xvf 3.9.0.8-TIV-TEC-LA0090.tar
NOTE: If you are extracting the tar image on a Windows
system, you will find an executable for tar in the TME
installation on Windows under bin/w32-ix86/tools/tar.exe.
2) Extract the INSTALLASSISTANT
On a UNIX system:
Extract the contents into a scratch directory. For the purpose
of this release note, assume that the symbol $PATCH points to
this directory.
# cd $PATCH/3.9.0.8-TIV-TEC-LA0090
# tar xvf INSTALLASSISTANT.tar
On a Windows system:
Extract the contents into a scratch directory. For the purpose
of this release note, assume that the symbol %PATCH% points to
this directory.

for more information.
4) Install the Web Console contained in this ifix using the
Install Assistant that is packaged with this ifix. Please refer
to the TEC 3.9 Fix Pack 8 README for more information.
