Abstract
If your DB2® users have high demands on continuous operations and applications performance, this presentation is for you. DB2 for z/OS®, Version 8 introduces a number of features that are particularly relevant to SAP, PeopleSoft, Seibel and any complex installation. Enhancements in DBA operations, particularly backup, recovery, and monitoring, online schema changes, as well as various performance improvements make DB2 Version 8 very attractive for the demanding application suites.
