  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: IFCID 225 is needed to evaluate most    *
  *                      critical storage issues.  Since this    *
  *                      record is part of STATISTICS trace      *
  *                      class 6, it is often not ON during      *
  *                      a first failure.  In addition, since    *
  *                      IFCID 225 is most often collected at    *
  *                      a default statistics interval of 30     *
  *                      minutes, the large time differential    *
  *                      between records reduces their           *
  *                      diagnostic value.                       *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  Enhancements are needed to ensure the availability of IFCID
  225 records on first failure.
  

Problem conclusion

• 1. System parameter STATIME default time is reduced from 30
     minutes to 5.
  2. IFCID 225 is added to STATISTICS trace class 1.
  3. An internal cache of IFCID 225 records is being kept so
     storage changes over time can be evaluated during dump
     analysis.
