Is the CASE expression available in the 7.25 version of IBM® Informix® Standard Engine?

No, the CASE expression functionality does not exist in IBM® Informix® Standard Engine 7.25.
However, this feature is supported in the IBM® Informix® Dynamic Server™ (IDS) versions 7.3x and 9.40 , so we recommend that you upgrade your server software to take advantage of this functionality.
