Problem
The Notes Standard 8.x mail view user interface no longer supports the legacy hard deletion model as it is inconsistent with how deletion is handled in Windows applications.
 
 
Resolving the problem
As a result, users should *not* run with the Allow soft deletions property disabled in the database properties of their mail files.
